Rajasthan Bye Election Result

A by-election (also spelled as "bye-election"), also known as a special election, is an election held to fill a political office that has become vacant between general elections. Usually, a by-election occurs when the incumbent has died or resigned. It may also occur when the incumbent becomes ineligible to continue in office, for example because of a recall, ennoblement, a serious criminal conviction, failure to maintain a minimum attendance, bankruptcy or mental incapacity.

List of Chief Ministers of Rajasthan
The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, a north Indian state, is the head of the Government of Rajasthan. As per the Constitution of India, the Governor of Rajasthan is the state's de jure head, but de facto executive authority rests with the chief minister. Following elections to the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, the governor usually invites the party (or coalition) with a majority of seats to form the government. The governor appoints the chief minister, whose council of ministers are collectively responsible to the assembly. Given that he has the confidence of the assembly, the chief minister's term is for five years and is subject to no term limits. Click here for Complete list of Rajasthan CM

The election for the 200-seat Rajasthan assembly will be closely contested as the Congress will look to continue the impulse after its success in by-polls under the guidance of Sachin Pilot. Congress won the Alwar and Ajmer Lok Sabha constituencies and the assembly seat of Mandalgarh. BJP lost 16 assembly by-polls conducted over the years under the leadership of Vashundhra Raje in the state. Meanwhile, AAP has emerged as a newcomer in the fray after announcing that they will contest the upcoming assembly election in the state. The party recently exchange Kumar Vishwas with Deepak Bajpai as its state in-charge.

  1. The by-polls for the Ajmer, Alwar Lok Sabha and Mandalgarh assembly seats will be a referendum on the performance of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) a year ahead of the state assembly elections.
  2. The BJP is not taking the by-polls, scheduled in December, lightly. Chief minister Vasundhara Raje has taken the reins of the elections in her own hands.
  3. These seats fell vacant after the death of BJP's Ajmer MP, Sanwarlal Jat, Alwar MP, Mahant Chand Nath and Mandalgarh MLA, Kirti Kumari.

  7. Raje launched the party’s election campaign on Wednesday with a three-day tour of the five assembly segments of the Ajmer parliamentary constituency.
  8. On Tuesday, state Congress chief Sachin Pilot launched his party’s campaign with the four-day Kisan Nyay Yatra from Baran to Jhalawar—in Raje’s home turf.

Mandalgarh Rajasthan Assembly By Election 2017

EC announces bypoll in constituencies of Alwar, Ajmer and Mandalgarh

  4. While Chand Nath died after battling cancer, Sanwar Lal Jat, the former minister in Modi Government, passed away post cardiac arrest. Kirti Kumari succumbed to suffering swine flu.
  5. The BJP has appointed one MLA and one party leader to oversee poll preparations for each assembly segment.
  6. Coming in the backdrop of demonetisation and GST, the by-polls will be difficult for the party. While small traders are upset about demonetization and the GST, Rajputs are unhappy over the killing of gangster Anandpal and farmers angry that the government has not formally waived off loans after promising it to do so.

Leadtech Political Consulting Political Survey Election Campaign Management Analysis

Analysis: The raw data from the field is compiled and a detailed research to correlate various factors will be conducted with respect to past election results. A comprehensive analysis will be carried out and focus areas will be shortlisted to be taken up further. This analysis will divide the booths in four groups, i.e., strong booths, weak booths, threatened booths, and opportune booths. A comparison between the strength of the individual vis a vis strength of the parties will also be done. In addition to the above analysis, the data gathered will be managed in software developed by Leadtech. This will enable the client to view the data collected through a user friendly graphical interface and come up with his own analysis and strategies.

Important points to be noted which can be done after this project:

ØThe data collected would be very precious during election

oTo manage the rally and party workers meetings, we can call our party workers with the help of phone numbers collected during survey which would be in database management software called “Voter Information Management System” alias VIMS

oCampaign management would be very easy during crucial period of elections since every detail is well managed in the software.

oYou can open a call center before 3 months of election to start the campaign (voter call center file attached here, explaining everything in detail).

Ø80% data would be factual which can be used in any election

ØThe software would be installed in the party office so that it may solve various purposes to manage day to day business of the leader.

ØWe can also start E-CAMPAIGN as soon as possible with the help of emails, websites, blogs and SMSes to influence those who are opinion makers.
