Ahmedabad, 27 November 2012: BJP’s central election committee will meet on Wednesday in Delhi to finalize the list of 94 second phase candidates of the party for Gujarat elections.

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi, national vice president Shri Parshottam Rupala, Gujarat BJP president Shri RC Faldu, state organizational general secretary Shri Bhikhubhai Dalsania and party’s central Organization joint secretary Shri V.Satish will attend the meeting among others.

24 November 2012 : Gujarat BJP will hold public meetings on Sunday, 25th of November at more than 55 places in Saurashtra and South Gujarat where the first phase of the elections are scheduled to take place on the 13th of December.

-Shri Arun Jaitley will deliver a speech on two assembly seats of Jamnagar city at 6.00 pm and 7.00 pm.

-Rajnath Singh will address three public meetings in Bhavnagar; in Bhavnagar rural at 2.30 pm, Bhavnagar east at 5.00 pm and Bhavnagar west at 6.00 pm.

-Shri Venkaiya Naidu will address public meetings at Jambusar at 2.30 pm, Ankleshwar at 5.00 pm and Bharuch at 7.00 pm.

-Madhya pradesh Chief Minister Shri Shivrajsinh Chauhan will address public meetings at Surat district’s Olpad at 4.00 pm, Karanj at 5.30 pm and Majura at 7.00 pm.

-Jharkhanda Chief Minister Shri Arjun Munda will address a public meeting in Navsari district’s Gandevi at 4.30 pm.

-Shri Purushottam Rupala will address three public meetings in Surat; Surat east at 5.00 pm, Surat north at 6.00 pm and Varachha at 7.30 pm.

-BJP’s national general secretary Shri Dharmendra Pradhan will address public meetings in Rajkod district, Smriti Irani in Bhavnagar district, Hukumdev Narayan in Surat district, Shri Shyam Jajoo in Valsad, Shri Balbir Punj in Surendranagar, Shri Harin Pathak in Junagadh, Shri Fagansinh Kulaste in Valsad, Shri Madhav Bhandari in Dang, Shri Omprakash Dhankad in Surat, Shri Jual Oram in Tapi and Surat, Shri Om Mathur in Jamnagar, Shri Vijay Goyal in Ahmedabad district.

ABP-Nielsen survey on Gujarat election: BJP to get 124 seats, Congress 51, others 7,Gujarat Opinion poll result 2012, Gujarat assembly election expected win

According to the ABP-Nielsen survey conducted on 182 assembly seats of Gujarat, the BJP will win 124 seats, Congress 51 seats and others no more than 7 seats. Thus the BJP will win 7 more seats than they have at present while the Congress will lose 8.

According to this poll result, 53% respondents feel Modi should now move to national politics. 53% feel Modi will lead the BJP in the 2014 polls.

As per the poll, Keshubhai will get only 3 seats.

The poll results say that the BJP will garner a vote share of 47% while the Congress will get a 38% share.

Out of a total of 54 seats in Saurashtra, the BJP will get 39, while the Congress 11. In the mainland of Gujarat, the BJP will get 85 out of a total of 128 seats while the Congress will get 40.
