About the Constituency:

Formed after the Presidential notification of delimitation of parliamentary constituencies of 2008, Fatehpur Sikri Lok Sabha Constituency is one of the 80 parliamentary constituencies of the state of Uttar Pradesh. The total number of electorates in the Fatehpur Sikri Lok Sabha Constituency (constituency number 19) according to Election Commission of India 2009 reports are 1,345,742 of which 748,440 are males and 597,302 are females.

About Fatehpur Sikri:

The city of Fatehpur Sikri is located in the Agra District at the south western border of the state and has 52 Village Panchayats under it. It is at a distance of 39 km from Agra and used to be the Mughal capital from the year 1571 to 1585. The National Capital, New Delhi is about 210 km away. Tourism is an important industry here and National Highways, NH-2, NH-3, NH-11 and NH-9 are connected to the city placing it on a large and extensive road network.

Demographic Pattern:

The city has a population of over 28,000 with 53% males and 47% females. The sex ratio is 868 females per 1000 males and 19% of the population is below six years of age. The city of Fatehpur Sikri has an average literacy rate of just 46%, with male literacy being 57% and female literacy rate being 34%, much lower than the national average.

About Osmanabad:

Osmanabad Lok Sabha Constituency is one of the 48 parliamentary constituencies of the state of Maharashtra. The Osmanabad Parliamentary constituency (constituency number 40) has a total of 1,608,852 electorates out of which 762,968 are females and 845,884 are males according to Election Commission of India 2009 reports. It was formed prior to the 1957 elections and this constituency has one SC reserved Vidhan Sabha segment and five Vidhan Sabha segments for the General category.

About Osmanabad:

Osmanabad city belongs to the Osmanabad district and has a height of 653 m. It lies towards the eastern side of the state and is named after the last Nizam of Hyderabad. It is bounded by Bhoom, Washi, Tuljapur, Solapur and Kalamb. 

As per 2011 census data, the city houses over 106,000 people with a 52.1% male majority and 47.9% female minority. The sex ratio is 920 females per 1000 males and the child population constitutes 14% of the population. Culturally, Hindus have a 61% majority and the official language is Marathi. The average literacy rate is 74% with male literacy at 80% and female literacy at 67%. With a handful of schools and colleges, the city also has a center of the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University. Various sugar mills, metal industries and steel plants are located here. The city has a vast road network and is connected to two National Highways, NH-9 and NH-211.

The Parliamentary Constituency of Ghazipur is one of the 80 Lok Sabha constituencies of the state of Uttar Pradesh formed prior to the 1952 elections. 1,527,723 is the total electorate count in the Ghazipur Lok Sabha Constituency (constituency number 75). Out of these 817,013 number of electorates are males and the remaining 710,710 are belong to the female category as the Election commission of India 2009 reports suggest.

Demographic pattern:

According to the census data of 2011, Ghazipur has a total population of 110,698 of which 52.5% are males and 47.5% are females. It has a sex ratio of 951 females per 1000 males. 11.46% of the population is below the age of six. The city of Ghazipur has an average literacy of 85.46% with male literacy at 90.61% and female literacy at 79.79%. Hinduism is the predominant religion here with 75% of the population being Hindus

About Ghazipur:

The administrative headquarters of Ghazipur district is situated in the city of Ghazipur. It is located in the eastern part of the state at an average elevation of 62 meters and covers an area of 20 sq. km. Hindi is the official language of Ghazipur. The economy of this city is primarily dependent on agriculture and the opium factory located here. Ghazipur has a promising number of notable schools and colleges, both government and private. National Highways NH 29, NH 19 and NH 97 pass through this city.

 About Pune:

Pune is the eighth largest city of the country and the second largest city in the state. Its total population is over five million with 50% consisting of males and has a sex ratio of 945 females per 1,000 males. In Pune, Marathi is the official and the most widely spoken language while Hindi and English are prevalent as well. ParbhaniLok Sabha Constituency is one of the 48 parliamentary constituencies of Maharashtra, formed before the elections of the year 1957. It is located in the Parbhani District and constitutes six Vidhan Sabha assemblies. According to Election Commission of India 2009 data the total electorates in the Parbhani Parliamentary constituency (constituency number 17) were 1,610,088 of which 782,453 are females and 827,635 are males.

About Parbhani:

The city of Parbhani was earlier known as Prabhavatinagar and lies in the Marathwada region to the east of Mumbai at an average elevation of about 350 metres across an area of over 55 sqkms. 

With a population of over 3,00,000 of which over 12% is under the age of six, Parbhani has a 53% male majority and a sex ratio of 949 females per 1,000 males. Hindus have a 53% majority in the area closely followed by the Islam community at 34%. Buddhists, Jains, Christians and other religions form the rest of the population. The average literacy rate of the city is 85% with a male literacy of 90% and female literacy at 78%. Marathi, Hindi and English are the prevalent languages in the area. The city has had a high quality education system since the early 1900s and has several public and private schools, affiliated both to the central and state boards. Many colleges offering degree courses in various fields are also available here. Agriculture is the main industry in Parbhani and National Highway NH-222 places it on an extensive road network as well.
