About Guna:
The Guna parliamentary constituency is one of the 29 Lok Sabha seats allotted to the Central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The nomenclature of the constituency has an important history associated with it. 1,202,772 is the total electorate count in the Guna Lok Sabha Constituency (constituency number 4). Out of these 649,826 number of electorates are males and the remaining 552,946 are belong to the female category as the Election commission of India 2009 reports suggest. This parliamentary constituency spreads across the entire districts of Ashok Nagar and parts of districts of Shivpuri and Guna. By the accepted pattern therefore, the
constituency should have been named the Ashok Nagar constituency.
However, the constituency retains the name of Guna as the district of Ashok Nagar, which was formed only in 2003, by being split from the large Guna district. It was only on the 15th of August of the same year that the eastern portion of the Guna district was separated to be called Ashok Nagar. Hence before 2003, the whole constituency was part of the expansive geographic region called Guna, and the constituency draws its name from the district even today.
Assembly Segments:
Comprising a total ofeight assembly constituencies this parliamentary constituency has the assembly segments of Guna and Ashok Nagar, which are the two seats which are reserved for scheduled caste candidates. Guna has a total population of 12,40,938, as per the Census of 2011.
Political Background:
The economy of the entire constituency sustains on agriculture as the backbone, although this constituency like many others in Madhya Pradesh, suffers from economic backwardness due to insufficient economic spontaneity. This constituency of Madhya Pradesh has been seat to prominent stalwarts in the political world such as Madhavrao Scindia and his son Jyotiraditya Scindia of the Indian National Congress.

About Damoh:
Situated in the Sagar division of the state of Madhya Pradesh, the Damoh parliamentary constituency is one of the politically significant Lok Sabha seats in this Central Indian state. It first came into existence in the year 1962, the same year that the Damoh constituency fought its first Lok Sabha elections. The Damoh Lok Sabha Constituency (constituency number 7) consists of 1,357,985 number of electorates in totality, of these 732,217 are males and 625,768 are females as the Election commission of India 2009 data suggests.
Assembly Segments:
The constituency is spread over three districts—while it covers the entire district of Damoh, it covers parts of the Sagar and Chhatarpur districts. Eight Legislative Assembly segments make up the Damoh seat, one of which only the Malhara assembly constituency is part of the Chhatarpur district, while Deori, Rehli, Banda are in the Sagar district. The rest of the four assembly segments, namely Hatta, Pathariya, Damoh and Jabera constitute the whole district of Damoh.
About Damoh:
According to the 2011 Census of India, Damoh District has a total population of 12,63,703. With the electorates count numbering to 13,58,234 as per the 2009 Lok Sabha figures, the parliamentary constituency of Damoh receives regular funds from the government under the Backward Regions Grant Fund Programme, as it has been recognised as one of the backward districts in the country. Although the region has considerable number of small-scale industries such as weaving and dyeing, besides having a prominent cattle market, the people in this constituency do not live economically healthy lives. The first general elections in the Damoh constituency were held in 1962, wherein the Congress captured power.

About Khajuraho:
The Khajuraho parliamentary constituency which came to existence in 1957, is one of the most crucial Lok Sabha seats in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Spread over the entire district of Panna, and covering parts of the Chhatarpur and Katni districts, 1,349,511 is the total electorate count in the Khajuraho Lok Sabha Constituency (constituency number 8). Out of these 722,631 number of electorates are males and the remaining 626,880 are belong to the female category as the Election commission of India 2009 reports suggest.
A total of 13,50,713 electorates from the Khajuraho parliamentary constituency, as recorded in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, comprise the strength of this constituency.
Assembly Segments:
The Election Commission carries out the supervision and control of the elections during the Lok Sabha elections. Out of the eight legislative assembly seats which make up this constituency, only Chandla and Gunnaor are reserved for candidates belonging to the scheduled castes. Pawai, Gunnaor and Panna are spread in the entire district of Panna, while Chandla and Rajnagar belong to the Chhatarpur district, and the remaining are portions of the Katni district.
Political Background:
The Khajuraho Lok Sabha seat has witnessed significant national leaders like Uma Bharti of the BJP come to power as a Member of the Parliament in Madhya Pradesh.. This seat has been one of the strongholds of the Bharatiya Janata Party which won this seat the maximum number of times.
After its formation in 1957, the first general elections were fought in 1957.

About Gwalior:
The Gwalior parliamentary constituency is known in history as the place that witnessed the fierce anti-British fight put up by Rani Laxmi Bai, especially during the First War of Independence in 1857. The total number of electorates in the Gwalior Lok Sabha Constituency (constituency number 3) according to Election Commission of India 2009 reports are 1,420,728 of which 781,567 are males and 639,161 are females. It also covers the entire Gwalior district in Madhya Pradesh.
Assembly Segments:
After the Delimitation Commission of India's Order was imposed in 2008, the constituency of Gwalior is made up of eight assembly segments that are spread over the districts of Gwalior and Shivpuri. While Karera and Pohari fall in the Shivpuri region, the remaining six segments fall in the Gwalior district. Karera and Dabra assembly constituencies are reserved for scheduled caste candidates.
About Gwalior:
This is one of the 29 Lok Sabha seats that belong to the Central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, known as the "Heart of Incredible India". This constituency not only covers the whole district of Gwalior, but also portions of the Shivpuri district. As per the 2011Census of India, Gwalior has a population of 15,64,981.
The historical city of Gwalior, which was a major seat of power from as early as the 8thcentury, is the administrative headquarters of the Gwalior district as well as the Gwalior division. This is one of the most influential and politically acclaimed constituencies in all of India, as it has been the seat of power of the Scindia royal family. Today, the Scindia lineage is well into the hands of Jyotiraditya Scindia, who is an MP from the Congress party.
The constituency is rich is industrial economy, housing some of the big sectors of the industry, such as dairy, textiles and manufacturing. Gwalior thrives on an expansive tourism sector, owing to the rich historical presence of the region.

About the Constituency:
Badaun Lok Sabha Constituency is one of 80 parliamentary constituencies of the state of Uttar Pradesh which came into existence prior to the 1952 elections. According to Election Commission of India 2009 data the total electorates in the Badaun Parliamentary constituency (constituency number 23) were 1,405,695 of which 628,082 are females and 777,613 are males.

About Badaun:
The city of Badaun is the district headquarters of the Badaun District. It is a part of the Bareilly Division. The district of Badaun comprises of 6 tehsils and covers an area of 5,168 sq km. Hindi is the official language. It is one of the 250 most backward districts of the country and receives financial aid from the Backward Regions Grant Fund Programme. The National Highway NH-93, the State Highways SH-18, SH-33, SH-43 and SH-51 pass through the district.

As per 2011 census data, Badaun District has a population of 3,681,896 with male population of 1,967,759 and female population of 1,714,137. Over the decade 2001-2011, the population growth rate was 19.95% and the population density here is 712 people per sq km. The sex ratio here is 871 females per 1000 males and 18.06% of the total population comprises of children below the age of six. The average literacy rate of Badaun is below the national average at just 51.29% with male literacy at 61% and female literacy rate of 40.09%.
