About Maval:

One of the 48 parliamentary constituencies of Maharashtra, the Lok Sabha constituency of Maval came into existence after the Presidential notification of delimitation of constituencies in 2008 and comprises of six Vidhan Sabha segments of which one is reserved for the SC category. According to Election Commission of India 2009 data, the total electorates in the Maval Parliamentary constituency (constituency number 33) were 1,604,886 of which 753,914 are females and 850,972 are males.

About Maval:

Maval is a tehsil and taluka of the Pune District and belongs to the Pune Division. Pune District has 15 talulaks and 13 Panchayat Samitis with a total area of 15,642 sq km.

According to the 2011 census, the district has a population of 9,429,408 making it the 4th most populated district in India. About 12% of the population is below six years of age and the city has a 52% male majority as well as a sex ratio of 915 females for every 1000 males. The average literacy rate here is about 86.25% with 90.84% male literacy and 81.05% female literacy. Marathi is the official language here while languages like Hindi and Gujarati are spoken by the locals. The population density here is 603 inhabitants per sq km. Pune District houses the Pune University which is one of the premier universities of the country. NH-4, NH-9, NH-50, Mumbai Pune Expressway along with five State Highways connect the district to several major towns and cities.

About the Constituency:

Domariyaganj Lok Sabha Constituency is one of the 80 constituencies of Uttar Pradesh and was formed prior to the 1952 elections. 1,499,679 is the total electorate count in the Domariyaganj Lok Sabha Constituency (constituency number 60). Out of these 813,533 number of electorates are males and the remaining 686,146 are belong to the female category as the Election commission of India 2009 reports suggest.

About Domariyaganj:

 It covers the whole district of Siddharth Nagar which covers a total area of 2,752 sq km. It falls under the Basti division and its headquarters lie in Naugarh. It has five tehsils; Naugarh, Shohratgarh, Bansi, Itwa and Domariyaganj. Hindi and Urdu are the commonly used languages here.  It has basic educational facilities with a handful of schools and colleges. Siddharth Nagar is one of the 250 most backward districts of India and receives funds from the Backward Regions Grant Fund Programme. It is connected to several major roads.

Demographic Pattern:

According to the census data of 2111, it has a population of 2,559,297 and 52% of the population is male whereas 48% is female. 18.96% of the population is below the age of six and the sex ratio is 976 females per 1000 males. The average literacy rate is just 59.25% with male and female literacy being 70.92% and 47.41% respectively. 40% of the total population belongs to the minority.

Out of these 738,996 number of electorates are males and the remaining 700,019 are belong to the female category as the Election commission of India 2009 reports suggest.

 About Nanded:

The city of Nanded is the second largest city of the Division of Marathwada and is the district headquarters of Nanded District. Situated in east Maharashtra, the city lies along the banks of River Godavari. The city is divided into Old and New Nanded and along with the nearby villages; it covers a total area of 120 sq km. 

The total population is 550,564 of which 53% comprises of males and 47% comprises of females. The total child population is 12% and the sex ratio is 924 females per 1000 males. The effective average literacy rate is 87.40% with male literacy rate of 93% and female literacy rate of 82%. Various cultural groups reside here and Marathi is the official language. Along with several traditional educational institutions, the city is well known for its private coaching institutions in the region. Many engineering and management colleges are situated here as well. Steel and chemical plants are all over the city and companies like TATA Steel and FLAMINGO Pharmaceuticals are established here. National Highways NH-204 and NH-222 pass through the city.

One of the 80 constituencies of Uttar Pradesh, the Lok Sabha Constituency of Dhaurahra was formed after the 2008 delimitation of parliamentary constituencies. The total number of electorates in the Dhaurahra Lok Sabha Constituency (constituency number 29) according to Election Commission of India 2009 reports are 1,269,584 of which 689,539 are males and 580,045 are females.

About Dhaurahra:

Hindi is the official language in both the districts. Both Sitapur and Lakhimpur Kheri are on the list of 250 backward districts of India and receive support funds. Agriculture is the primary economic activity here.

As per 2011 India Census, Lakhimpur District has a population of 4,021,243 of which male and female population are 2,123,187 and 1,898,056 respectively. The child population here is 662,296 and the sex ratio is 894 females per 1000 males. The average literacy rate is 60.56% with male literacy rate at 69.57% and female literacy rate at 50.42%. The population has a 77.41% Hindu majority.

Sitapur District has a population of 4,483,992 of which male population is 2,375,264 and female population is 2,108,728. The child population is 747,558 and the sex ratio is 888 females per 1000 males. The average literacy rate is 61.12% with male literacy rate at 70.31% and female literacy rate at 50.67%.
