The elections to 17-member Dharamsala Municipal Corporation would be held on March 27.
The results would be declared the same day.
Announcing the election schedule here today, State Election Commissioner T G Negi said that out of eighteen wards, nine have been reserved for women including two for Scheduled Cast women and one for Scheduled Tribe woman.

The filing of nominations is slated for March 4, 5 and 8, scrutiny of nomination papers on March 9 and the last date for withdrawal is March 11.
Dharamsala was upgraded from Municipal Council to Municipal Corporation on September 21 last year and became the second Municipal Corporation in Himachal Pradesh after Shimla.
The voting would be done through EVMs and the mayor and deputy mayor would be elected through indirect voting by councillors.
There are 31,538 voters including 15,521 men and 16,017 women.
Three wards have been reserved for Scheduled Caste and two for Scheduled Tribes and the number of non-reserved (open) wards is six.
The mayor and deputy mayor would have two-and-a-half year term.
