The Tripura Legislative Assembly election, 2018 will be held on February 18, 2018, at 8 am.

  1. The Tripura Election Results would be announced on 3rd March 2018.
  2. The counting of votes will take place and Tripura Election Results Party Constituency wise would be declared same day.MLA and Winner List would be declared same day.

 

 

 

 

Re-polling updates of 6 polling booths

Over 85 percent of electors cast their votes at the six polling stations where re-polling was held on Monday 

 ECI orders re-polling in six booths on Feb 26

  1. Re-polling at six booths in six Assembly constituencies in Tripura started at 8 am in the morning.
  2. The election commission has ordered re-polling in six stations of six constituencies of Tripura today on the basis of the report and taking all material circumstances into account on Feb 26 next between 7 am and 4 pm hrs.
  3. The ECI issued direction to CEO stating that fresh poll has to be undertaken in 26th booth of Sonamura, 8th booth of Dhanpur, 45th booth of Teliamura, 48th booth of Sabroom, 37th booth of Ampinagar and 9th booth of Kadamtala-Kurti constituencies.

 

 

Live Voting Updates Tripura Elections Exit Polls 2018 

  1. Election Commission says voter turnout till around 9 pm stands at 78.56 percent.
  2. 74 percent voter turnout till 4 pm, says Election Commission.

  3. VVPAT was used for the first time in all the polling booths in Tripura, says Election Commission.

  7. Tripura created history in 2008, 2013 polls - In the 2013 and 2008 Assembly polls, Tripura scripted a record in the electoral history in India by casting 92 percent and 91 percent votes respectively, reports IANS.

  15. 15 EVMs have malfunctioned across the state so far. However, no major incident has been reported till now, reports CNN-News 18.

  17. Several stations in constituencies like Rajnagar, Amarpur, RK Pur, Matabari and Bagma haven't started polling due to "malfunctioning EVMs".

  20. A faulty EVM was reported in one of the constituencies in Gomati district in Tripura.

  21. Polling in Charilam constituency has been postponed to March 12 after the death of CPI(M) candidate Ramendra Narayan Debbarma.

  22. The polling for the 59 of 60 seats in the state began early Sunday morning. The counting of votes will take place on March 23.
