- AAP will make encouraging policies, provide cutting edge support to Start-Ups and dignify traditional sectors.
- There is hardly any emphasis on all-round development in schools, with zero focus on vocational education. Sports is an integral part of the Goan youth culture but previous Governments have built an enabling environment. It is extremely unfortunate that Goa’s sporting talent, especially in Football remains untapped. the AAP intends to tap into this talent.
- AAP Government in Goa will create 50,000 jobs in 5 years through entrepreneurship development.
- Single Window Clearances will be provided to encourage businesses.
- 2 New Start-Up Incubation Centres with Rs 2 crores annual funding.
- AAP Government will ensure Government schools are better than private schools.
- Goa’s teacher training will be modelled on Delhi government’s successful interventions in the field. Teachers will be freed from non-academic activities and election related duties.
- Goa’s 1st Sports University will be set up by the AAP Government for Goan youth.
- Goa’s Agriculture college will be upgraded to be Goa’s 1st Agriculture University.
- Interest-free and Collateral-free higher education loans up to INR 15 lakhs, INR 25 lakhs for domestic, foreign studies. For the first time ever, Goan youth will receive collateral free loans for education.
- To arrest dropouts from schools, Student’s Skill Building will be launched from Class 9.
- Goa youth manifesto lays focus on job creation. Aam Aadmi Rozgar Yojana (AARY): Loans up to Rs 50 lakhs for youth to set up businesses.
- Transparency in Examinations will be ensured – verification, re-evaluation made time bound.
- Goa’s sports budget will be doubled by the AAP Government.
- Mission Olympic – Exceptionally talented sportspersons will be supported with adequate allowances.
- Goa will be developed into India’s Football capital. We will be freeing 350 sporting spaces across the state and handing over to local football clubs. Announcing the initiative Gomes said, “Our sportspersons have huge potential but no support. Through Goa Mission Olympics, we will create stars of the future.”
- Maganda/performing spaces, 12 Ravindra Bhavans for cultural activities. Performing Arts courses affiliated to Goa Univ
- AAP Government will provide Rs 2 lakh for college festivals to student councils at the start of the academic year.
