West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency is one of the seven Lok Sabha constituencies in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. This constituency came into existence in 2008 as a part of the implementation of the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission of India constituted in 2002.
Delhi has been divided into Eleven Districts. Each District is headed by a District Magistrate. There are 33 Sub-Divisions in entire Delhi. Every district has three Sub-Divisions. Each Sub-Division is headed by Sub Divisional Magistrate.
West Delhi is bound by the districts of North West Delhi to the north, North Delhi and Central Delhi to the east, South West Delhi to the south, and Jhajjar District of Haryana state to the west.
West Delhi has an area of 129 km², with a population density of nearly 14,000 persons per km².
