No manifesto for Delhi polls, only vision document: BJP
New Delhi, Jan 29 (IANS) The BJP Thursday said it will not issue a manifesto for next month's Delhi assembly elections but a vision document which will be released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party's chief ministerial candidate, Kiran Bedi.
"The BJP will not have a manifesto for Delhi. We will have a vision document which will be released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Kiran Bedi," senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ananth Kumar told the media here.
He informed that Modi will address four rallies in the capital Jan 31, Feb 1, Feb 3 and Feb 4.
According to informed sources, BJP President Amit Shah would review the campaigning on a daily basis, and also take in to account the response garnered.
Sources added that 12 MPs would be campaigning for the upcoming polls and 250 public meetings would be held in the next seven to eight days across the 70 assembly constituencies.
Ananth Kumar also said that in each seat, more than 1,000 party posters would be put up.
"We will do all that it takes, and win win by a two-third majority," he said.
Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay added that every day till Feb 6, the party will ask five questions to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal.
Delhi goes to polls Feb 7 and counting would be held Feb 10.
