Delhi polls: Voting for AAP a waste of vote, says BJP
New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday said voting for Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party is a waste of vote.
Senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj sounded confident of winning December 4 Assembly elections in Delhi and said, "The party is about to form government in three states. We will form government even in Delhi."
This year in Delhi, there is a triangular battle between Congress, BJP and AAP, which is making a debut in the electoral world.
BJP's Delhi chief ministerial candidate Harsh Vardhan also voiced Sushma's opinion of winning Delhi elections. He said, "I'm confident about winning the elections."
On AAP survey predicting 38 to 50 seats for the party, Vardhan said, "I can do a survey and say I'm getting 71 out of 70 seats, does it make any sense. I'm seeing the response of the people which is tremendous and overwhelming. People want to get rid of corrupt Congress. They are giving us total support."
BJP ally Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Singh Badal is also predicting a clean sweep in Delhi. He said, "It's a clean sweep in Delhi. BJP-SAD alliance will get 50 seats in the national capital."
