Trinamool civic poll list likely today
The candidates’ list for Trinamool Congress in Siliguri Municipal Corporation election is expected to be announced on Friday. North Bengal Development Department minister Gautam Deb has decided not to contest after a decision by Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee herself that no West Bengal minister would be allowed to contest in the civic polls. Deb has declared this in a Press conference. Earlier, Trinamool had projected him as the mayoral candidate in the SMC. (EOIC)
