The RSS has joined the board of BJP poll managers to lead the latter to a noteworthy win in the 2016 assembly polls. At a brainstorming session--the Samanvay Baithak--held here on Sunday, the Sangh Parivar decided to divide the state into three zones, each with 10 `sure' seats.
Candidates with high chances of winning would contest these seats, and a senior RSS leader would coordinate the activities in each zones, a BJP functionary , who was part of the meeting, said.
The baithak was attended by 70 top office bearers of the BJP, RSS, VHP and BMS.
The newly-appointed BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan had made it clear that BJP would not be aiming at merely open its account in the state, but wo uld target at winning more than 71 seats in the 140-elected member assembly .
