Kerala Revised voters’ list on January 11, voters list Kerala, Kerala Assembly constituency voter list, district wise voter list Kerala, kerala assembly election 2016,Kerala polls, Kerala NRI voters list
The revised voters’ list in the district will be published on January 11. The district received 71,322 applications in connection with the revision process, officials in charge of the programme said.
The number of applications received till December 14 in various Assembly constituencies is as follows —
- Aroor - 8,081;
- Cherthala - 8,472;
- Alappuzha - 8,154;
- Ambalappuzha - 6,510;
- Kuttanad – 4,895;
- Harippad - 8,416;
- Kayamkulam - 10,654;
- Mavelikara - 7,275;
- Chengannur – 8,965.
Of the total 71,322 applications received, 62,090 were for inclusion of names on the voters’ list. As many ass 6,339 were for correction and 195 were for inclusion on the NRI voters’ list. There were 2,698 applications for change of place within the same constituency.
Block level officers have been engaged in verification of applications. Decisions have been taken in respect of 5,435 applications till December 15. The Central auditors deputed by the Central Election Commission to review the voters’ list revision process held discussions with the officials entrusted with the task in the district. The applications for removal of names of deceased from the voters’ list should be submitted before December 19.
The applications for inclusion on the NRI voters’ list should be accompanied by a copy of the page of the passport on which visa has been affixed, according to officials.
