KMC Election 2015: SEC meet with All Party leaders before civic poll
An all party meeting was conducted at the State Election Commission (SEC) office on Saturday where the opposition parties protested against the ruling party TMC’s demand of extending the voting time to 5 pm instead of 3 pm.
BJP’s Vice-President Prabhakar Tewari said the extension of the time will allow TMC to breach the election rules. He also alleged TMC is trying to frighten their candidates. All the opposition parties have made the demand of the deployment of the Central forces in the civic poll.

Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress Secretary General Partha Chatterjee said for the benefit of the voters they have made an appeal to extend the time of casting vote from 7 am-3 pm to 7 am-5 pm.

He further added his party has promised to abide by all the election guidelines during civic poll. KMC Mayor Shovan Chatterjee accompanied TMC Secretary General in the all party meeting.
