Kiran Bedi's election aide quits BJP
New Delhi, (IANS) Days before Delhi goes to polls, Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi's election aide quit the party, finding her "dictatorial" ways unbearable.
Bedi's election assistant Narendra Tandon, in his resignation letter addressed to BJP president Amit Shah, accused her of having "dictatorial" ways. "I am hurt by the way Kiran Bedi was made the chief ministerial candidate."
Tandon, who claimed to have been associated with the party for 30 years, said: "...The way she was giving dictation to us, had become intolerable. Her associate would insult me on everything." "I worked hard for 11 days, but cannot do it anymore," he wrote.
Tandon, who has been a member of the BJP's state executive, also alleged that the BJP workers in Delhi are interested only in "women and money" and urged Amit Shah to probe it. Bedi refused to comment on Tandon's resignation.
