Sting Operation by AAP Arvind Kejriwal on BJP 2014, Delhi News 2014
New Delhi: After the Aam Aadmi Paty released a video exposing horse-trading to form government in Delhi, the BJP on Monday issued a show cause notice to its state's vice president Sher Singh Dagar who is seen featuring in the video allegedly bribing AAP MLAs.
While issuing the notice, the BJP's Delhi chief Satish Upadhyay said that Dagar has to give clarification on the matter. However, Upadhyay denied to call it a setback to its plans of forming the next government in the national capital.
When asked about the show cause notice, Dagar said that as soon as he will receive any notice from the party, he will respond to it within a few hours. “I know I'm not wrong and have my own version. I will give explanation to my party as soon as I'll receive any notice. This I would have done any ways,” he said. "You can see my 44 years' record. I have not done anything wrong. If the party wants to expel me, they can... I will file a defamation case against the AAP," Dagar said. "The AAP MLA had come to meet me 45 days ago and even yesterday (Sunday). Since the BJP has formed the government at the centre, he wanted to join our party," Dagar said at a press conference here.
The AAP alleges that Dagar had offered around Rs 4 crore to AAP MLA Dinesh Mohania at his residence. “BJP should stop politics of horse-trading as everything is not for sale,” Mohania said.
Furthermore, the AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal said that the raw footage of the video will be submitted to the Supreme Court on Tuesday. They will then lodge an FIR with the police and approach election commission, he added. He also posted the link of the alleged 'sting video' on his Twitter website.
