Harsh Vardhan BJP CM Candidate for delhi poll promises jobs, education.
NEW DELHI: Delhi BJP on Wednesday launched its vision for Delhi under the banner of Dus Din-Dus Irade wherein it promised to start 15 new colleges and at least one university in association with a leading world university. The party has promised to open a web university called A B Vajpayee Online Vishwavidyalaya.
The vision document launched by leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley, party's chief ministerial candidate Harsh Vardhan and state BJP president Vijay Goel on Wednesday focused on "youth and employment" under the programme Atal Yuva Mission.
"Our government will help inculcate a culture of meritocracy. Delhi will become the first state in India to truly reap the demographic dividend of having an overwhelmingly youthful population," Vardhan said.
