The Communist Party of India-(Marxist) has released the name of 33 candidates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly polls in Patna today. However, no details of the candidates name has been updated in their official party website.

The CPIM had earlier sidelined itself from the ‘Mahagatbhandhan’ with Janata Dal-United and Rashtriya Janata Dal, as they were offered only three seats in the 243-Assembly polls. Following the partition, the CPIM decided to contest the election all by itself, while Samajwadi Party and Nationalist Congress Party have joined hands for the Bihar polls.
