Telangana Rural Local Body Elections 2017
Elections to the six seats in Telangana Legislative Council from local bodies' constituency in four districts has begun today.
Telangana State Election Commission has issued the schedule for conducting elections for vacancies in Panchayat Raj bodies and urban local bodies across the State.

Rural local bodies election will be held on July 13. The votes will be counted on the same day, followed by declaration of results.
In a release, TSEC secretary M Ashok Kumar said that the elections will be held for four MPTCs of Mandal Praja Parishads, 16 sarpanches, and 133 ward members along with the 19th ward of Narsampeta Nagar Panchayat in Warangal (rural) district and also elections to Pahadishareef gram panchayat of Saroornagar mandal in Rangareddy district.
