1. Which Party Will You Vote for in the Upcoming 2018 Tripura Assembly Elections?

Leadtech-NewsVanGuard found out that majority of the people are voting for BJP in the upcoming elections of 2018 as almost 41% of the people are looking forward to BJP party in all surveyed assemblies. CPI(M) is the second most popular choice of the people as almost 40% of the people said that they would be voting for CPI(M) in the 2018 elections. It is a big achievement for the BJP to reach 41% vote share in long Left-ruled rule state, people are really looking for a change but it seems more efforts need to put up to defeat the incumbent.

When they try to inquire about the prevailing biggest issues which are going play an important role in upcoming elections, we found that issue of corruption is one of the major issue prevailing in Tripura. The opposition needs to keep this point as the main agenda for the forthcoming election.

5. In your opinion will BJP's Grand Alliance with Tribal parties (IPFT) help the BJP? 

When they try to inquire from the people of Tripura whether they will support BJP if they have an alliance with IPFT, we got a mixed review from the people, 56% of the people in the assembly says that they will continue their support if they have an alliance and rest 44% of people have exactly the opposite opinion on the same. As per their observations, there is a wave of "Paribortan", making alliances with the regional party like IPFT will have a somehow positive impact (Local and ST factor) in terms of voter share in favour of BJP.

ü   When they try to know from the people of Tripura whether they wanted to continue with the same CPIM govt or they are looking for change in their state, they found that there are only 36% of people in the state who are satisfied with the work of CPI(M) government led by Manik Sarkar but in contrast to it, there are 64% of people in the state who want to change and want to bring some other political party at their state level.

According to the survey, data gives us clear indication that people of Tripura give Desire For Change factor more important than the other factors as suggested by 30% respondents. Around 23% respondents said that they will cast vote according to the party. While other factors like Candidates and Religion are getting less preference, which is a very positive towards the development of any society.
