Tripura CM urges BSF personnel to foil attempts of insurgents to enter into the state:Tripura |
December 14, 2012 Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has urged BSF personnel to foil attempts of insurgents to enter into the state from neighbouring Bangladesh ahead of the Assembly polls due in February, official sources said Friday. Suren was involved in killing 18-20 jawans of Tripura State Rifles in Takarjala in West Tripura district a few years ago. He said barbed wire fencing helped security forces to contain militancy in the state but some patches of the 856-km-long border still remain open. |
