LUCKNOW: Spreading its ambit the Samajwadi Party has decided to contest assembly elections in neighboring state of Madhya Pradesh where it hopes to win at least 15 seats.

In 2003 assembly elections, SP had won 9 seats but in the 2008 polls it failed to open its account. The party is eyeing on those Bundelkhand seats that share border with Uttar Pradesh.
