Voting will took place on 21st Februrary 2017 and counting took place on 23rd feb 2017

1. Pune MP Anil Shirole’s son Siddarth Shirole of the BJP defeats deputy mayor Mukari Algude (Congress), Balasaheb Bodke(NCP) and RajuPawar(Sena).
2. Former Pune mayor R S Kumar lose his seat
3. Pune Mayor Prashant Jagtap and his mother Usha Jagtap win in PMC polls.
4. INC and NCP go for alliance in PMC Elections 2017. Alliance of NCP and INC for 100 seats in Pune city and friendly fight for 62.

   PMC Election Results 2017 Ward Wise Winner List

1. The decision taken in Mumbai by Pawar and Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee president Ashok Chavan.
2. Friendly fight Bopodi-Aundh, Deccan Gymkhana-Model Colony, Kasewadi- Lohia , Kondhwa-Mitha Nagar Wanowrie.
3. Out of a total of 41 wards in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 13 wards will have alliance, while 7 contested by NCP, where Congress will not give out tickets to their candidates.
4. Congress will contest solo in 4 other wards, where NCP would not field its candidates. For the remaining wards, there will be a friendly fight
5. The department collects the consolidated voter list of 9 Assembly Constituencies which are 202-Purandar, 208-Vadgaonsheri, 209-Shivaji Nagar, 210- Kothrud, 211-Khadakwasala, 212-Parvati, 213-Hadapsar, 214-Pune Cantonment, 215-Kasaba Peth  from the District Election Office, Pune.
6. This Voter List is divided ward wise. The census population of Pune city is  31,32,143 and the number of registered voters is around 24.88 lakhs which is expected to go up to 26.5 lakhs once the list is updated.

Latest News on Pune Municipal Corporation PMC 2016 - 201706 Dec 16: Pune civic polls in Feb electoral rolls by Jan 21 --  As per the direction of Election Commission of India, the electoral roll prepared by Chief Electoral Office with January 1, 2017 as the cut off date for eligibility of voters, would be considered for the civic polls.
