PMC to have 162 corporators & 5 nominated members, Pune Municipal Corporation, Maharashtra civic polls, Maharashtra Municipal election 2017
Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is all set to increase the strength of corporators from 157 to 167 in the next term from 2017.
As per the earlier norms, the PMC could have strength of 152 corporators to be elected from the public while five were to be nominated.
Recently, the state government decided to hold four ward electoral panel for forthcoming civic polls instead of the existing two ward electoral panel.
