Kerala Cabinet Minister Portfolio List 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021. The Latest cabinet Ministers List after 2016 Assembly elections is as mentioned below. LDP led by CPI(M) has won with thumping majority and has swept the elections 2016.

 
  1. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and the Cabinet Ministers of 19 members have been sworn in on 25th May 2016. There are 12 ministers from CPI(M), 4 from CPI and 1 each from JD(S), NCP and Cong(S).
  2. There are eight new faces, including two women, in the CPI(M) list. Dr Thomas Issac, A K Balan and G Sudhakaran, in the list, were members of the 2006-11 cabinet headed by V S Achuthanandan.
  3. The new faces are E P Jayarajan, K K Shailaja, T P Ramakrishnan, Kadakampally Surendran, A C Moitheen, J Mercykutty Amma, Prof C Raveendranath and Dr K T Jaleel.
  4. P Sreeramakrishnan will be the new Speaker.
  5. All CPI ministers are new  first time cabinet ministers E Chandrasekharan, V S Sunil Kumar, P Thilothaman and K Raju. P Sashi will be the Deputy speaker.

Kerala Council of Ministers 2016

Pinarayi Vijayan

 Chief Minister The CPI(M) leader won from the Dharmadom constituency. He had served as a minister in the E.K. Nayanar Cabinet in the late Nineties.

E.P. Jayarajan

 The CPI(M) leader, who started his political life as a student activist, represents the Mattanur constituency.

T.M. Thomas Isaac

This CPI(M) Central Committee Member was elected from the Alappuzha constituency. He was the Finance Minister in the LDF government headed by V.S. Achuthanandan.

G. Sudhakaran

Representing Ambalappuzha in the Assembly, this CPI(M) leader is a first-time minister.

A.K. Balan

The Tarur MLA was Electricity minister in the 2006-11 cabinet. He also held the SC/ST development portfolio.

K.K. Shylaja

 A teacher by profession, this CPI(M) leader represents Kuthuparamba.

C. Ravindranath

The former education minister was elected from Puthukkad.

Kadakampally Surendran

 A first-time minister, he represents the Kazhakoottam constituency.

T.P. Ramakrishnan

The CPI(M) leader was elected from Perambra.

J. Mercykutty Amma

Represents the Kundara Assembly constituency. She is one of the two women ministers in the Cabinet.

A.C. Moideen

The Kunnamkulam MLA is a first-time minister.

K.T. Jaleel

The CPI(M) leader has won from Thavanoor.

E. Chandrasekharan

The CPI leader was elected from Kanhagad.

V.S. Sunil Kumar

He represents Kaipamangalam constituency in the Assembly.

P. Thilothaman

The Cherthala MLA is a first-time minister.

K. Raju

The CPI leader won from Punaloor.

Mathew T. Thomas

The Thiruvalla MLA contested as a JD(S) candidate with the Left's support.

A.K. Saseendran

The Nationalist Congress Party leader won from Elathur.

Ramachandran Kadannappalli

 A former minister for Devaswom, he won from Edakkad contesting in the Congress (S) ticket.
