Arvind Kejriwal should forgive Yadav, Bhushan: Goa AAP leader
Panaji, (IANS) In an open letter an AAP leader from Goa, Oscar Rebello, has blamed "bruised egos" and "innate over-sensitive nature" of his leaders for the bitter infighting and wants party chief Arvind Kejriwal to forgive the group's senior leaders Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav and get them back into the political affairs committee (PAC).
Rebello, who has been the face of one of Goa's biggest civil protest movements in recent times against indiscriminate land use, has also said the party's senior leadership has not been able to reconcile theoretical and practical aspects of politics into a workable model.
"Despite his pain and anguish at being hauled over the coals, repeatedly, he must summon the courage to unleash the most powerful weapon of a great leader - the weapon of forgiveness.

"He must be charitable in victory, get PB (Prashant Bhushan) and YY (Yogendra Yadav) back in action on the PAC, must learn to listen without rancour and he must turn the page to write a new chapter," Rebello said.
Rebello, whose Aam Aadmi Party has failed to cut ice in Goa, also asked the Delhi chief minister to be "charitable in victory" and pegs him as the "only man" who can stop the "ghastly bloodletting" within the party.
AAP leaders have been washing dirty linen in public, shortly after the party's sweeping performance in the recent Delhi poll.
In course of the vicious in-fighting, senior leaders like Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav were dropped from the party's elite PAC, allegedly at the behest of the Kerjiwal faction within the party. Rebello also accused his party leaders of fighting with their hearts rather than their heads.
"Sadly, they have let their bruised egos and innate over-sensitive natures ride over common sense and are needlessly letting their hearts rule over their heads," he said.
"Fundamentally, Team AK (Arvind Kejriwal) and Team YY/PB have not been able to reconcile these two issues. They have been unable to blend the 'theory' and 'practicals' of our politics into a workable model," he said.
