Congress DMK Alliance in TamilNadu, Congress pushes for 45 seats from DMK, Pre-poll alliance INC DMK, Tamil Nadu Elections 2016, INC-DMK alliance news update, INC DMK alliance in 2016 tamilnadu elections
INC started negotiation with DMK and demanded 63 seats and finally settled for 45. But DMK seems to be offering just 30 seats. Senior leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mukul Wasnik held first round of seat sharing talks with DMK President M Karunanidhi.

In Last assembly elections 2011
AIADMK won 160 seats
DMK won 23 seats and
INC won 5 seats
In 2006, the Congress was given 48 seats, of which it had won 34.
In 2011 the Congress was given 63 seats but it won just 5. The DMK had won 23 seats.
In this elections also, according to the opinion polls released till now and also looking at parliamentaty performace AIADMK may win this Assembly Elections too.
