Punjab polls 2017: SAD to announce candidates within next 2 weeks, SAD Candidate List 2017 for Punjab Polls, Punjab assembly election candidate list 2017
The ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) will announce its candidates for the assembly elections due next year within the next two weeks, party president and Punjab deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal said on Monday.
After welcoming a Congress leader, Satpal Mal, into the party fold, Sukhbir said the SAD has already conveyed to its probable candidates and the official announcement would also be made soon.
Replying to a question about the announcement of VAT rationalisation in the manifesto of AAP which was launched on Sunday, he said Kejriwal should “stop fooling people by releasing visionless manifestos”.
“Everyone knows that GST is all set to replace the VAT across the nation from the next financial year but Kejriwal is talking about VAT, which shows his (lack of) common understanding about the issues pertaining to society,” he said.
