1. Kejriwal's party is considered the front-runner in the battle for Punjab.
2. Kejriwal Said "If elections are held in Punjab tomorrow, we will sweep them," he said at his party's rally, his optimism ignited by the soaring crowd that had turned Muktsar into a sea of jhadoo
3. The rally was to kick off AAP's campaign for the 2017 Assembly elections in Punjab.When asked for his assessment on AAP's chances, Kejriwal said, "We are winning Punjab and the margin of victory will be huge".
4. Kejriwal's speech at Muktsar followed the template he had perfected in Delhi. He launched a blistering attack at SAD as well as at the Congress. In his trademark aggressive style, Kejriwal clubbed the SAD, Congress and BJP together arguing that AAP was the only opposition in Punjab.
5. He promised to rid the state of corruption, to send corrupt leaders to jail, to punish those who desecrated the Holy Guru Granth Sahib, to ensure justice to Dalits and to provide fair compensation to farmers.

7. AAP already suspended two of its four MPs, Dharamvira Gandhi and Harinder Singh Khalsa for dissidence.
8. Sharing stage with Kejriwal at Muktsar were three prominent local leaders -- state convenor S C Chhotepur, AAP MP Bhagwant Mann and lawyer HS Phoolka.
