While the blame game is on for who is responsible for the current state, two-third of respondents  in ABP News-Nielsen Snap Poll feel the former CM Nitish Kumar is responsible for the current political turmoil in Bihar.

66 per cent have said that Nitish Kumar is responsible while just 23% feel it’s the fault of Manjhi. 9% blame it on the BJP.

Further the snap poll has found out that more than half of all respondents feel that the NDA alliance BJP-LJP-RLSP (56%) in Bihar would benefit out of this revolt. 38% are of the opinion that JD(U)-RJD-Congress-NCP alliance will attain fruitful results out of the whole mess.

For about half of all respondents (52%) surveyed Nitish Kumar is being seen as the most suitable Chief Minister of Bihar at this point of time. 16% feel Manjhi is a better choice while 10% are in favour of Bihar BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi.

When we look at the alliance, we can see that JD (U)+RJD+INC+NCP (57%) is preferred by majority of the respondents. BJP-LJP-RLSP has got 41%.

Meanwhile, Bihar BJP MLAs will be supporting Jitan Ram Manjhi in Friday's floor test in Assembly, announced Sushil Kumar Modi Thursday evening.

With Manjhi's revolt, for the BJP there was a clear window open to get the votes of the Mahadalits, the community to which the chief minister belonged and which accounts for about 15 per cent of Bihar's electorate.
