Karnataka Assembly By-Election Schedule Dates 2019 Constituency Wise Karnataka Assembly By-Election Result 2019
A by-election, also spelled by-election (Ireland only) (known as a special election in the United States and the Philippines, and a bypoll in India), is an election used to fill an office that has become vacant between general elections.
In most cases, these elections occur after the incumbent dies or resigns, but they also occur when the incumbent becomes ineligible to continue in office (because of a recall, ennoblement, criminal conviction, or failure to maintain a minimum attendance). Less commonly, these elections have been called when a constituency election is invalidated by voting irregularities.
By-elections to fifteen state assembly constituencies will be going to held in Karnataka on 5 Dec 2019. It will be considered to be a mini-assembly election battle for the power in Karnataka. The ruling government has to prove its majority while the opposition will trying hard to get maximum seats.
