The voting for the third and final phase of the panchayat elections in Haryana's 36 blocks would be held on January 24.
As many as 11,584 candidates are in the fray for 5,362 posts of panch, 6,370 for 1,550 posts of sarpanch, and 2,877 for 750 posts of member panchayat samiti, state election authorities today said.
The polling would be held between 7.30 am and 4 pm at 5,230 polling stations where 27,30,884 voters are eligible to cast their ballots, they said.

95 sarpanches have been elected unanimously in Haryana Panchayat Election 2016
State Election Commissioner Rajeev Sharma said 10,316 panches, 95 sarpanches, and 30 members of panachayat samitis have already been elected unopposed.
The SEC said police authorities have been asked to deploy extra force at 1,021 polling booths, identified as hyper-sensitive, and 1,154 booths, declared sensitive.
