69.95% turnout in Katargam booth repoll in Surat, Repoll sees good turnout close to 70%, Gujarat News, Gujarat repoll 2012

The higher turnout scenario is continuing even in repolling stage in Gujarat.

Surat North assembly seat’s Katargam booth no. 27 today witnessed 69.95% voting in repoll.

This is matching to 70.75% overall average turnout in the first phase poll.

The repoll was ordered here due to problem in electronic voting machine during the scheduled polling on 13 December.

Repoll was conducted today also at Bhavnagar rural assembly seat’s Kamlej booth no 3 and Jamjodhpur seat’s 169 Kotada polling booth.
