About the Constituency:
Ramtek Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 48 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in Maharashtra state in western India. The constituency was created in the year 1957 for 2nd Lok Sabha, with abolisation of Amravati West constituency in the neighbouring Amravati district. Ramtek Lok Sabha constituency comprises of six Vidhan Sabha (legislative assembly) segments. Shri Mukul Balkrishna Wasnik is the current MP of Ramtek Lok Sabha constituency. He is a member of Indian National Congress.
