About the Constituency:
Shirdi Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 48 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in Maharashtra state in western India. This constituency came into existence in February, 2008 following the implementation of the Presidential notification on delimitation of parliamentary and assembly constituencies, based on the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission of India constituted in 2002.
Shri Bhausaheb Wakchaure is the current MP of Shirdi Lok Sabha constituency. He is a member of Shiv Sena.
