About the Constituency: Covering the district of Chittoor in the Rayalaseema region of the state of Andhra Pradesh is the Lok Sabha constituency by the same name. The Chittoor Parliamentary constituency is one of the 42 Lok Sabha seats which belong to the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The Chittoor Parliamentary constituency (constituency number 42) has a total of 1,291,921 electorates out of which 654,277 are females and 637,644 are males according to Election Commission of India 2009 reports.
