Even though the UDF's vote share is high, its popularity is declining. While 44 per cent respondents are happy with the UDF, 50 per cent are unhappy with the current regime.
But Chandy is more popular than his government with 57 per cent people satisfied with his performance. However, true to its age old tradition, Kerala is not in a mood to return the incumbent UDF government to power in the event of an Assembly election.
Just 23 per cent respondents say the UDF should get one more chance with 47 per cent respondents against it.
Moreover, 55 per cent respondents are dissatisfied with the UPA at the Centre and just 44 per cent are satisfied with PM Manmohan Singh. Overall the anti-UPA mood is still greater than the pro-UPA government mood in Kerala.
