New Delhi:

Even as the Prime Minister insisted on Friday that his government would complete its term and there would be no early elections in the country, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said there was no chance that people of India would want to see Manmohan Singh as their prime minister for the next five years.

The party also came down heavily on Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, whose party gives outside support to the UPA and who has been lately criticising the government for the increasing corruption in the country. "If Mulayam Singh is so fed up with Congress and UPA then why does he not leave UPA," asked BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad.
Prasad also ruled out the possibility of a Third Front coming to power in the Lok Sabha elections. "There have been talks of Third Front. Third front is history in the politics of India, it has no relevance in present and future," he said. The BJP leader also insisted that his party will never enter into an alliance with Mulayam's party. "We have never had and will never have any alliance with Mulayam Singh," he said.

The party also questioned Mulayam Singh Yadav's stand and said if he was fed with the UPA, he should leave the alliance.
Training his guns at the Congress-led UPA government, Prasad said, "India's growth story is over. The way India is being governed is being questioned now. India certainly deserves better, it does not deserve a lack lustre, non-performing UPA government led by Manmohan Singh."
