The BJP has gone hammer and tongs at the government. It has now decided to boycott the Rajya Sabha. The party says that it has been wrongly named in Wednesday's Rajya Sabha bulletin list for disrupting the House.

The Rajya Sabha bulletin listed 22 MPs for causing disruption - 20 belonged to the BJP while two are from the TDP. BJP leader Sushma Swaraj tweeted as Parliament got disrupted that it was the Congress that caused ruckus in both Houses. The two Houses were adjourned following the uproar.

"What is this practice of naming members of Parliament and putting their names in bulletin. I have been in this House for last 13 years. I have seen members going to the well of the House and also tearing away the papers and taking it from the minister on women's reservation bill. No such thing has been done. Why this discrimination? Where is this procedure decided? Was it referred to rules committee? I am not able to understand," said BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu.

"We have seen a member of the ruling party tell a minister of the ruling party that once Telangana is formed, he will have to get out. Now, the object has been that the House can function peacefully and therefore, these incidents are played down than play up. But if this is going to be mentioned in this manner, I would urge you to reconsider this," BJP leader Arun Jaitley told the Rajya Sabha chairperson.
