Expressing anguish over the killing of two Indian soldiers by Pakistani forces on the line of control (LoC), Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday stressed giving Pakistan a 'tit-for-tat' reply.
"The Pakistan army has not just beheaded our two brave soldiers, but they have severed our pride. A tit-for-tat reply should be given," Chouhan said addressing a programme in Indore. Referring to cases of molestation of girls and crimes related to women, he said that his government is drafting a tough law on the issue as well as preparing a database of such anti-social elements. The MP government will ensure that driving licences of such elements are cancelled, they are not issued any character certificate and they don't get passports They will also be debarred from government jobs, he said.
Referring to some of specific provisions in this regard, he said, "We have decided that after the occurrence of such incidents, probes will be completed within 15 days and on the 16th day, the chargesheet will be filed in court. The court will give its verdict on such matters in 60 days, he said. source:IBNLive |
