MP Chief Minister Include Industrial areas In MP, Nine new industrial areas in MP Are Included By The Shivraj singh Chohan, MP News

Bhopal: Nine new industrial areas will be established over 761 hectares of land in the state. A sum of Rs 255 crore will be spent on the development of these industrial areas. In-principle consent in this connection was given at the apex Investment Augmentation Empowered Committee meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here on Tuesday. Finance Minister Raghavji, Commerce and Industries Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya and Chief Secretary Avani Vaish were present on the occasion. Chouhan said that establishment of new industrial areas is one of the top priority of the State Government. This will increase capital investment apart from generating employment opportunities. He instructed to give special attention to quality control of development works in these areas. 
The meeting was informed that the proposed industrial areas include Special Education Zone Acharpura, Govindpura and Bagroda in Bhopal, Crystal IT Park in Indore, Bhavsingpura in Khandwa, Sirsoda (Dewas) in Ujjain area, Pahadi (Morena) and Readymade Garment Complex Gadaipura in Gwalior area and Bagaha (Satna) Rewa area. For these new industrial areas, AKVN will arrange Rs 127 crore while a loan worth Rs 128 crore will be taken from HUDCO. Besides, in-principle consent was also given by the meeting for spending a sum of Rs 311 crore for infrastructure development in four industrial areas. These areas are Mandideep, Pithampur, Sanver Road Indore and Sidhhgawa (Sagar). 
For this purpose, AKVN will arrange Rs 77 crore, Commerce and Industry Department Rs 9 crore and Rs 35 crore under Central Aside Scheme while a loan worth Rs 190 crore will be taken from HUDCO. Development works related to roads, power and water will also be undertaken in these areas. The proposal of extending special facilities on mega investment worth Rs 20,000 crore or more was also approved in-principle in the meeting. This proposal will be brought at cabinet meeting. According to it, two years additional exemption will given on VAT and entry tax and 50 acre land will be provided at concessional rates on mega investment between Rs 20,000 crore to Rs 50,000 crore within ten years of implementation of Industrial Policy. Similarly, three years additional exemption will given on VAT and entry tax and 60 acre land will be provided at concessional rates on mega investment over Rs 50,000 crore. Senior officers of all the concerning departments were present on the occasion.
