Zilla Parishad Kolhapur BJP Candidates Released 2017
1. The Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) on Monday published its first list of 22 candidates contesting the Zilla Parishad (ZP) election.
2.BJP forms alliance with Jansurajya Party, Tararani Aghadi and Yuvak Kranti Aghadi for the upcoming ZP and panchayat samiti elections
3. It would contest on all 67 seats.
4. The list is included 15 BJP candidates, four from Jansurajya, two from Yuvak Kranti and one from Tararani Aghadi.
5. The BJP will be contesting on six seats from Hatkanangle taluka and the leader Raju Shetty is planning to form an alliance to show his party's strength.

(a) Every political party is ensuring that their candidates are following strict
party guidelines and will not rebel if they do not find their name in the
list of probable candidates.
(b) ZP president DC Patil, Gokul director Ranjitsinh Patil, industrialist Mahavir Gat, Vikrantsingh Kadam, Devraj Bardeskar and others joined BJP in presence of Patil.
