Election Commission team to visit Maharashtra today ahead of Assembly polls
Ahead of the upcoming Assembly polls in the state, Election Commission (EC) officials will visit the state on Monday for two-day visit. The team will be led by Chief Election Commissioner VS Sampath and Election Commissioners H S Brahma and SNA Zaidi.
The EC team will meet senior officials of the state and district administration and discuss about the preparations related to the Assembly elections.
The Commission, sources said, is also expected to review the voters list in the state during the visit. The Maharashtra Assembly has 288 seats.
