New Delhi: A CNN-IBN-The Week pre-poll survey has revealed that Janata Dal (Secular) president and former Chief Minsiter HD Kumaraswamy is the most preferred CM candidate, with 18 per cent people voting in favour of him. While ex-BJP strongman BS Yeddyurappa came a close second, garnering 10 per cent votes, present Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar came last, with 6 per cent votes. Congress leader Siddaramaiah was at number 3, gaining 9 per cent votes, while his party colleague and former CM SM Krishna was at number 4, with 8 per cent votes. Karnataka JDS chief Kumaraswamy most preferred CM candidate: Survey While ex-BJP strongman BS Yeddyurappa came a close second, garnering 10 pc votes, CM Jagadish Shettar came last, with 6 pc votes. The survey also asked voters to choose the best Karnataka Chief Minister ever. The JDS president took the cake here too. He led with 15 per cent votes. Senior Congress leader SM Krishna was voted the second best CM, with 14 per cent votes.
