Live Voting updates Jharkhand assembly Elections Phase 5

Comprehensive security arrangements have been put in place for the final stage bets. Polling will be held on 11 of the 16 seats from 7 am to 5 pm. While voting on five seats will be completed at 3 pm In the fifth and final phase of Jharkhand assembly elections, voting is going on in 16 seats in six districts in Ranchi on Today.

Till 9 in the morning, 12.01 percent polling was recorded. There is tremendous enthusiasm among the people about voting. Long queues of people have been busy at polling stations since morning. They also include a large number of women

Initially, some booths were reported to have no power and defect in EVMs, which caused some voting problems. But these problems were removed immediately. Extensive security arrangements have been made for the voting. 41 thousand security forces have been deployed for fair and peaceful voting. Of these, 275 companies belong to the central security forces.

Live Voting percentage at 9 Am is 12.01%

An estimated 12.01 per cent of over 40 lakh voters exercised their franchise till 9 am in the fifth and final phase of Jharkhand Assembly elections, Election Commission (EC) officials said. Women and men were seen waiting in queues outside the polling booths to exercise their franchise, braving the December cold. (PTI)
