A five-member committee was set up by the BJP State unit to ensure victory of NDA candidate Neeru Shanti Bhagat in Lohardaga Assembly by-election.
The BJP is hopeful the election in tilted in its favour. “The this five-member committee is headed by State vice-president of BJP Deepak Prakash. MLA Shiv Shankar Oraon, Gangotri Kujur, Harikrishan Singh and Sanjay Seth are its members. The BJP has resolved to establish an effective harmony among the members and officials of AJSU and make our contestant win in the by-poll,” party’s State president Dr Ravindra Rai said in a Press conference on Sunday.
He also assured about promises made by the party. “People are in doubt whether BJP would fulfil its norms of alliance or not. BJP supports its alliance candidate Neeru Shanti Bhagat beyond any doubt. Neeru Shanti Bhagat is the candidate of NDA and hence our members and officials would help her at village, Panchayat and blocks levels in the constituency. The mutual alliance of BJP is clear,’ added Rai.
He went on and said that the State had been for last 14 years in political turmoil. “Not only politics but a common man has been affected adversely by it. BJP ruptured this process and now there is NDA government in the state with full majority.”
“The BJP has played vital role in separation of the state. It is fulfilling all those things for which separate state had been set up. This govt would go further for five years without any hurdle. In the map of country our state has come to third position. Congress has always been enemy of the country. It has tarnished the state politically, economically and socially. Congress has worked for its own benefit. Sometimes it elected the independent leader as CM and sometimes done coalition with other parties as JMM. When the State had not been separated from Bihar, then also Congress had worked for its political benefit. Resultantly the development of Jharkhand had been affected. Lohardaga had been under hand of Congress for 40 years. But there is no remarkable development was noticed. In 2015 the full majority govt was set up and the state has been leading in the path of development swiftly,” Rai said.
Rai added further, “JVM is the party of rejected ones. They work only for personal benefit. Their political life would go no longer. On the pother hand BJP resolve that a good effort would be made to take the state pipeline. The political turmoil could be controlled in the state by hared work. Neeru Shanti Bhagat is having all serving nature and is a trained political leader. So we must support her.”
On the occasion BJP state vice president Deepak Prakash, District head Rakesh Prasad, AJSU leader Suraj Agarwal, Raj Kumar Verma and many others were present. Before it at Agrasen Bhawan BJP Yuva Morcha head addressed a summit and appealed the party members to work with devotion to support the party contestant.
