Assembly election 2014: JBSP to contest 14 Assembly seats in Jharkhand
Former chief minister Madhu Koda-led Jai Bharat Samanta Party (JBSP) will contest all the 14 seats in mineral-rich Kolhan division of Jharkhand in the Assembly election likely to be held by the year-end.
"We are mainly concentrating on all the 14 Assembly constituencies in Kolhan comprising of East and West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharswan districts of Jharkhand," said Geeta Koda, MLA and wife of Madhu Koda. "In fact, we have already started preparation for the poll and organising party workers' meeting constituency wise," she said.
To a query whether JBSP would forge alliance with any political party, she said "we are open for such option with like-minded parties." Of the 14 seats in Kolhan, East Singhbhum district has six Assembly constituencies, West Singhbhum has five and Seraikela-Kharswan has three.
