J&K assembly polls: 218 candidates file nomination for 5th phase
Jammu: A total of 218 candidates have filed their nomination papers for the fifth and the last phase of the ongoing assembly elections in the state, polling for which is scheduled for December 20. "On the last day of filing of nomination today,
in all 218 candidates have filed their papers for the fifth phase of Assembly elections to be held on December 20 covering 20 constituencies spread over three districts of Jammu, Kathua and Rajouri," an official of the election commission said.

- Gandhi Nagar eight candidates have filed their nomination papers

- Jammu West 10 candidates have filed their nomination papers
- Bishnah 10 candidates have filed their nomination papers
- R S Pura 10 candidates have filed their nomination papers
- Suchetgarh 9 candidates have filed their nomination papers

- Raipur Domana 12 candidates have filed their nomination papers

The scrutiny of the papers would be held on December 4 and December 6 is the last day for withdrawal of nomination.
