BJP Wins in 100 Civic Wards ,Congress won in 75 wards,JD-S could make it only in 14, 8 other wards were won by independent candidates.
Bharatiya Janata Party once again won the the majority of council seats in Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) by grabbing 100 of the 198 civic wards.While Congress won in 75 wards, JD-S could make it only in 14. Eight other wards were won by independent candidates. Counting of votes began at 8 am on Tuesday across 27 centres and was over before 1 pm, as expected.
